KABUL (Pajhwok): Eighty players have been selected for the national karate team, the National Olympic Committee (NOC) said on Tuesday.
The NOC on its Twitter handle wrote the karate selection trials between 518 have held in which 80 athletes for the national team selected
He said the trials started five days earlier.
He added 505 players from 20 provinces and a 13 member group from Iran participated in the trials which were held on age and weight 50kg to 90kg.
During the trail competitions Herat grabbed first, Farah second and Khost third position, in youth trials Herat got first, Khost second and Badghis third positions.
