KABUL (Pajhwok): A high-level delegation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), headed by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, has travelled to Uzbekistan to attend inaugural ceremony for the Termez International Trade Centre.
The delegation left for Termez on Thursday morning following an official invitation from Tashkent, Baradar’s office said in a statement.
The Termez International Centre is scheduled to be inaugurate today in the presence of Baradar, Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister Abdulla Nigmatovich Aripov, Azerbaijan Prime Minister Ali Asadov as well as high-ranking officials from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
