TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): Head of integration of municipalities Maulvi Ishaq Akhundzada says plans approved for cities’ development will be implemented as long as no major technical problems arise.
The Administrative Office said Akhundzada visited Tirinkot Municipality of central Uruzgan province on Wednesday to establish coordination between government agencies and citizens in the field of monitoring municipal affairs and revenue collection.
In this meeting, he said currently, urban development works are going on in many provinces of the country, including Kabul.
He explained the approved plans will be implemented without any hindrance or delay by considering the needs and demands of the citizens.
He also assured the residents of Khairo Kariz town that after the completion of the map and master plan, construction of roads, canals and bridges will be started.
On the other hand, residents said the IEA should take measures for the development of Tirinkot city.
Mohammad Rafiq, a resident, said for the past four decades, no development work had been done in the city.
