KABUL (Pajhwok): On the invitation of the Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs (MoHRA) a delegation of religious scholars from Uzbekistan has arrived in the capital Kabul, a statement said on Wednesday.
Headed by Mufti Nooruddin Khaliq Nazari, the Uzbek ulema delegation landed in Kabul on the formal invitation of the Acting Hajj and Religious Affairs Minister Mufti Noor Mohammad Saqib, a statement from the MoHRA said.
This delegation would discuss the strengthening of bilateral relations and cooperation with the high officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) and would discuss the development and improvement of relations between the scholars of the two countries on religious and educational issues, mosques, madrassas and share their cooperation and experience, the statement said.
The delegation would visit historic and famous places in Afghanistan as well.
