KABUL (Pajhwok): Qatar and Afghanistan have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the area of air services to improve transport links between the two countries.
The MoU came within the framework of connecting Qatar with air service agreements, providing Qatar Airways the opportunity to expand its global destinations, reported Gulf Times.
The MoU was co-signed by Acting President of Qatar’s General Civil Aviation Authority Mohamed Faleh Al Hajri and Afghanistan’s Deputy Minister of Transport and Aviation Abdul Salam Haidari.
The signing ceremony was attended by Qatari Minister of Transport Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti.
In the signing ceremony, Sulaiti met Haidari to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries in the areas of civil aviation, transport and communications.
