PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Two Afghan coal miners have died as a result of inhaling the methane gas inside a mine in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province.
The Afghan nationals lost their lives while working in the Duki coal field area on Thursday when the incident occurred, local security official said.

Bodies of the victims, identified as Habibur Rehman and Saifullah, were retrieved from the mine and taken to a local hospital.
On completion of medico-legal formalities, the bodies were sent to Afghanistan.One worker, identified as Hafizullah, was rescued.
