70 athletes compete in kickboxing contest in Helmand

LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): A one-day kickboxing tournament was held in Lashkargah, the capital of southern Helmand province, with 70 athletes participating.

Maulvi Sher Mohammad Wahdat, Deputy Director of the Information and Culture Department of Helmand, told Pajhwok that the competition took place between athletes from three sports clubs in the city.

According to Wahdat, Nazari Club took first place, Naderi Garmsir Club claimed second, and Sabir Club secured third.

He added that the event aimed to encourage youth participation in sports and promote the exchange of experiences.
