10-month trade with India accounts for $650m

KABUL (Pajhwok): Bilateral trade between Afghanistan and India was $650 million in the past 10 months, a statement said on Saturday.

The statement from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) said Afghanistan exported goods worth $447 million and imported goods $203 million.

The main exported items to India included asafetida, saffron, raisins, green cumin and almonds, the source said.

The statement said that Afghanistan imported sugar, raw materials for industry new dresses and roasted chickpeas.
