Afghan, Turkish officials discuss joint fight on drugs

KABUL (Pajhwok): Anti-narcotics department deputy director at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) and Turkish Embassy’s advisor in Afghanistan talked about joint fight against narcotics and providing farmers with alternative crops.

On X handle, MoI wrote Deputy director of anti-narcotics department Mullah Abdul Haq Hamkar met with Turkish Embassy’s advisor Zafar Kishi and his delegation.

In this meeting, both sides discussed joint fight against drugs, providing alternative crops to farmers, collection and treatment of addicts, and improving health care capacity.

According to MoI, the delegation praised the struggle and achievements of the Islamic Emirate against drugs and assured cooperation.
