3-day domestic products exhibition kicks off in Kunduz

KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): A three-day exhibition of domestic products was launched on Wednesday by the Department of Industry and Commerce of northern Kunduz province.

The exhibition features 40 stalls showcasing various products, including handicrafts, agricultural goods, hand-woven carpets, and other local products.

Gul Mohammad Elyas, the Director of Information and Culture of Kunduz, said that the purpose of organising this exhibition was to promote domestic products.

He added that the exhibition would run for three days. "In this exhibition, products from various companies are being displayed. The aim is to create marketing opportunities for agricultural products, handicrafts, and factory-made goods," Elyas said.

Elyas also highlighted the exhibition's importance in raising public awareness about the quality of domestic products and encouraging people to support local goods.

Abdul Qadir Mayar, a representative of one of the manufacturing companies displaying their products, remarked: "This exhibition is a great opportunity to introduce our products to the public and attract more buyers. We hope such programmes will continue."

Sayed Khosti, another representative from a manufacturing company, added: "We urge our fellow citizens to participate in such exhibitions and support local products."

Meanwhile, several visitors expressed satisfaction with the variety and quality of the products on display and called for more exhibitions like this in the future.

Khalil Ahmad, a visitor, commented: "It is fantastic that such an exhibition has been organised. Using domestic products not only contribute to national economic growth but also prevents people's assets from leaving the country."
