Missing young man found dead, 2 suspects held in Faryab

MAIMANA (Pajhwok): The body of a young man has been found and two brothers were arrested in connection with the case in northern Faryab province, police said on Tuesday.

In a statement, the police headquarters said Naqibullah, a car dealer and a resident of Jalgaldi village of Almar district had gone missing a week ago, but his body was found from a well in a destroyed school in Majboor Hotel area of Qarmaqol district.

According to the victim’s heirs, security forces arrested two brothers, residents of Andkhoy district in connection with this case and they had confessed to stabbing Naqibullah to death.

The police statement said the motive behind the murder remained unclear and both suspects are under investigation at the Police Headquarters. The victim’s Fielder-type vehicle was also recovered from their house.
