1 killed, 4 injured in Jawzjan traffic accident

KABUL (Pajhwok): A 10-year-old girl has been killed and four others injured in a traffic accident in northern Jawzjan province, an official said on Friday.

According to police spokesman Qari Abdul Satar Halimi, the incident occurred when a Saracha-type vehicle veered off the road on the Jawzjan-Balkh highway in Shiberghan City late on Thursday.

Halimi said that the 10-year-old girl lost her life, while the four injured individuals were taken to the hospital. He attributed the accident to reckless driving.
