Parwan Futsal: Salang, Ettehad Noman teams emerge champions

CHARIKAR (pajhwok): A month-long futsal tournament, featuring 32 teams, has concluded in central Parwan province, with Salang and Etehad Noman and teams emerging victorious.

The competition was aimed at selecting best athletes for national competitions.

The tournament was held between 16 teams of players aged 16 and 20 years old in the green field of Charikar city.

Head of sports Abdul Zahir Khaliqyar Mujahid said the Salang and Nawjawanan teams played in 16-year-old age group and Etehad Noman and Parwan City teams competed in 20-year age group in the final round.

He explained Salang team defeated the Nawjawanan team 2-1, and Ittehad Noman team defeated the Parwan City team 3-2, and as a result, the Salang and Ittehad Noman teams were recognized as the champions of this round.

The athletes considered holding such competitions useful for the growth of sports and improving their capabilities, and called on officials to provide them with the necessary conditions to participate in international competitions.
