MEHTARLAM (Pajhwok) Scores of development projects have been executed at a cost of more than one billion afghanis in eastern Laghman province last year, an official announced on Tuesday.
Deputy Governor Maulvi Akhtar Mohammad Muzamil told reporters 88 development schemes were planned in various sectors in Mehtarlam, the provincial capital and five districts in the solar year 1403.
Out of the 88 projects, 52 had been completed and work on the remaining was still ongoing, he said, adding the 1.024b afs schemes were funded bythe government and partner organisations.
