1 killed, 3 injured in Maidan Wardak flash floods

MAIDAN SHAHR (Pajhwok): Flash floods in central Maidan Wardak province have resulted in one death and three injuries.

According to a statement from the governor’s office, the floods occurred in Syedabad, Nerkh, Chak, and Daimirdad districts on Friday night.

It added one individual lost his life and three others were injured in Senzayee area of Nerkh district.

The floods have caused the closure of main roads, swept away four vehicles, and destroyed agricultural land in the affected districts.
