3 suspects held with 15kg of narcotics in Ghazni

GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Security forces have arrested three individuals and seized 15 kilograms of narcotics from them in southern Ghazni province, a police official said on Sunday.

Police spokesman Abu Khalid Sarhadi told Pajhwok Afghan News that the suspects were involved in trafficking drugs from Helmand province to be sold in Kabul and Ghazni.

The men were apprehended in Ghazni City with 15 kilograms of crystal meth, a Kalashnikov rifle, two pistols, a luxury car, and a large amount of cash.

Sarhadi added, without providing additional details, that three other suspects were also detained with drugs in the 2nd police district of Ghazni City.
