KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Health in Gaza has announced that six more people have died in the past 24 hours from starvation caused by the Israeli blockade of the region.
According to Anadolu Agency, citing a statement from the Gaza Health Ministry, six more individuals lost their lives in the last 24 hours due to hunger resulting from Israel’s siege.
This brings the total number of starvation-related deaths in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, to 399, including 140 children.
The report stated that the number of deaths from hunger — especially among children — continues to rise.
It is worth noting that the catastrophic shortage of food and skyrocketing prices, caused by Israel’s prevention of aid shipments, has put immense pressure on the lives of millions of Palestinians.
