KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghan and Belarusian officials have discussed strengthening technical ties and expanding cooperation in various sectors.
In a post on his X handle, Mohammad Nabi Arghandiwal, spokesman for the National Development Corporation (NDC), said that a high-level Afghan delegation headed by Mawlavi Ahmad Jan Bilal, head of Emirate-owned companies and including the chief executive officer of NDC, had travelled to Belarus.
He said the Afghan team, in separate meetings with officials from Belarus’s ministries of foreign affairs, agriculture and industry, described bilateral political relations as effective.
The delegation also visited state-owned enterprises and major industrial companies in the country.
Arghandiwal added that both sides also agreed to further enhance bilateral cooperation and technical relations in the industrial and agricultural machinery, construction materials, food safety, public health and education sectors.
