SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): A man was arrested on Monday on charges of stabbing his wife to death in northern Jawzjan province, an official said.
Police spokesman Qari Abdul Sattar Halimi told Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident took place on Sunday in Misrabad village of Shiberghan city, where a man allegedly stabbed his wife to death.
Halimi said the husband and another man were detained in connection with the killing on Monday morning.
He added that investigations into the incident are ongoing.
