KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) says the third edition of the “National T20 Cup” will begin on May 2 in northern Kunduz province.
The ACB said in a statement on Tuesday that, according to the annual schedule of its domestic cricket department, the third phase of the “E&-National T20 Cup” will be held in Kunduz.
The statement added that teams from five regional zones will take part in the 13-day tournament.
It noted that the inclusion of these matches in the domestic cricket structure has added variety and produced positive results so far.
The board reaffirmed its commitment to expanding cricket across the country, identifying new talent, and further developing Afghanistan’s cricket.
