KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation (MoTCI) has forecast heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and flash floods in 23 provinces of the country.
In a post on X, the ministry said heavy rain, thunderstorms and flash floods are expected tomorrow (Thursday) in Nuristan, Kunar, Nangarhar, Laghman, Kapisa, Panjsher, Parwan, Baghlan, Samangan, Badakhshan, Kunduz, Takhar, Balkh, Sar-i-Pul, Faryab, Ghor, Badghis, Daikundi, Bamyan, Ghazni, Maidan Wardak, Logar and Paktia provinces.
It said rainfall is expected to range between 10 and 30 millimetres in different parts of these provinces.
It also forecast wind speeds of 50 to 90 kilometres per hour in central and southeastern provinces.
