KABUL (Pajhwok): Four members of a family have been killed by unknown assailants and three suspects have been detained in connection with the incident in the central Logar province, police said on Monday.
Police spokesman Mawlawi Sultan Mohammad Sangin told Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident took place on Sunday night in the Hesarak area of Pul-I-Alam city.
He said the head of the household, his wife and their two sons lost their lives in the overnight attack.
Governor’s spokesman Mawlawi Mirwais Abadali told Pajhwok that security forces have detained three suspects in connection with the case.
Faridullah, a resident of Hesarak village, said the deceased man was a farmer and his sons were tailors and they had no known enmity with anyone.
He urged security forces to bring the perpetrators to justice.
