GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Two people have been killed and 29 others injured in a collision between a passenger bus and a cargo truck in the capital of southern Ghazni province, officials said.
Police spokesman Abu Khalid Sarhadi told Pajhwok that the accident occurred at around 10:00 p.m. on Saturday in the Rawza Kotal area of Ghazni City.
He said the crash involved a 580-type passenger bus and a trailer truck.
According to Sarhadi, 29 people, including 11 women, sustained injuries in the incident. The wounded were transported to Ghazni Civil Hospital and the provincial regional hospital for treatment.
