KABUL (Pajhwok): The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is scheduled to hold a meeting on the mandate of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) on Monday.
In a statement, UNAMA said the meeting would take place at 10:00 a.m. New York time (6:30 p.m. Kabul time) on June 15 and would be broadcast live.
According to the statement, the 15-member Security Council will review UNAMA’s mandate and discuss the mission’s activities in Afghanistan during the session.
