KABUL (Pajhwok): Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi departed for Iraq on an official visit on Sunday, according to media reports.
Iran’s state broadcaster reported that Araghchi travelled to Baghdad earlier in the day.
It said he is expected to hold talks with senior Iraqi officials on bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments.
The broadcaster also added that coordination with Iraqi authorities regarding arrangements for the funeral ceremony of Iran’s former leader, Ali Khamenei, is on the agenda of the visit.
