19 real estate offices closed in Kabul over violations: MoJ

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) says it has closed 19 real estate offices in Kabul over illegal activities and violations during the past month.

According to a statement from the ministry, the monitoring team of the General Directorate of Coordination of Property Transactions and Petition Writers Affairs inspected 63 property transaction offices in Kabul and advised other operators to address their shortcomings and refrain from any unlawful activities.

The ministry said that during the same period, the directorate issued new operating licenses to 137 applicants engaged in property transaction activities and renewed 71 other licenses.

The statement added that training programmes were also conducted for 208 property transaction operators on mediation principles and procedures for conducting transactions, providing them with the necessary guidance and skills.
