KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment has signed an MoU with China’s Qingdao International Exhibition Center to boost trade cooperation, exhibitions, and business exchanges.
In a statement, the chamber said the agreement was signed on the sidelines of the International Manufacturing Machinery Exhibition, attended by officials from the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment and a number of Afghan traders.
Under the MoU, Chinese manufacturers and traders, particularly industrial machinery producers, will participate in the 5th Imam Abu Hanifa National and International Exhibition. They will display their latest machinery and equipment in Afghanistan to promote their products, explore market opportunities, and strengthen economic cooperation.
The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment said the agreement represents an important step toward enhancing trade relations and creating greater opportunities for collaboration between the private sectors of Afghanistan and China.
