KABUL (Pajhwok): At least seven people have been killed and five others injured after a passenger bus caught fire in southern Vietnam, police said on Tuesday.
According to Reuters, the incident occurred when a 24-seat passenger bus was travelling from Lam Dong province to Ho Chi Minh City.
Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security said the fire spread rapidly through the bus, trapping several passengers inside.
State media reported that five passengers were injured in the blaze.
Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
