KABUL (Pajhwok): Russian airstrikes hit several Ukrainian cities early Thursday, injuring 18 people and damaging residential buildings and other facilities.
According to Reuters, 12 people, including two children, were injured in Kyiv, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said.
He said debris from the strikes damaged apartment buildings and other inhabited structures, as well as warehouses and an area near a petrol station.
In the Black Sea port city of Odesa, a Russian strike hit a 19-storey apartment building, injuring three people, including a child, local officials said.
Three other people were injured in Zaporizhzhia in southeastern Ukraine, according to local authorities. A missile strike there also sparked a fire at an industrial facility.
