KABUL (Pajhwok): Norway has contributed NOK 15 million, equivalent to around $1.63 million, to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund (AHF), the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said.
OCHA welcomed Norway’s latest contribution, saying the funding would help sustain the humanitarian response for people in need across Afghanistan.
“Your contribution helps sustain the humanitarian response for people in need across Afghanistan,” OCHA said in a message.
The Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund is a country-based pooled fund managed by OCHA to support a coordinated, prioritised and principled humanitarian response in Afghanistan.
The fund was established in 2014.
