LASHKARGAH (PAN commander were killed in a clash in southern Helmand province on Monday, an official said.
A police vehicle was carrying equipment to a checkpoint when came under attack from insurgents in Aab Pashak area of Greshk district in the morning, the governor’s house said in a statement.
In the ensuing clash, two policemen and a rebel commander were killed, it said.
Police chief, Mohammad Hakim Angar, confirmed the attack, saying only one policeman was killed.
