KANDAHAR CITY (PAN and auqaf director survived an explosion in southern Kandahar province, an official said on Saturday.
Maulvi Abdul Aziz escaped unhurt in a bomb attack in the Zana Khan area of Panjwai district, Zalmay Ayubi, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He added an investigation had been launched into the incident. Designated as Taliban‘s governor for Kunduz province, Aziz joined peace process last year before being appointed as director.
