KABUL): President Hamid Karzai will travel to China on a four-day visit from Sept. 25-28, the foreign ministry in Beijing announced on Monday.
Karzai’s trip was in response to an invitation from his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, a ministry spokesman told a daily media briefing.
According to the news agency Xinhua, Karzai will also attend the opening ceremony of the Euro-Asia Economic Forum (EAEF). It is Karzai’s second trip to China in as many years.
