KABUL President Mamnoon Hussain, accompanied by senior officials, will be arriving tomorrow in Kabul to attend the oath taking ceremony of president-elect Dr. Ashraf Ghani.
A spokesman for the Pakistan embassy in Kabul said the presidential trip and his participation in the oath-taking ceremony reflected Islamabad’s commitment to forging a deeper bilateral relationship with Kabul.
“Pakistan looks forward to working closely with the new Afghan government, contributing toward greater harmony, stability and prosperity in Afghanistan,” he said in a statement.
The visit would pave the way for further broadening and strengthening the bilateral relations between the neighbours, the statement added.
