KABUL Fallen Veterans Memorial in Canada’s Fort McMurray has been vandalized by unidentified hooligans, a news report says.
The Edmonton Journal quoted the legion branch in Waterways as saying paint was thrown at the base of the monument late on Monday.
“Soldiers, and the legions that serve them, do not associate themselves with any political viewpoint nor profess opinion on where our country sends us to do its bidding,” branch president Pat Duggan said.
