<p><a href="/en/afganistan/kabul" class="glossify-link">KABUL</a> heads of states summit, an official said on Tuesday.</p>
<p>Deputy Presidential Spokesman Shah Hussain Murtazavi told reporters here the two-day NATO summit would discuss <a href="/en/afghanistan" class="glossify-link">Afghanistan</a> on Thursday.</p>
<p>“Afghanistan, cross border terrorism, support to the peace process and fight against criminal economic networks are on the agenda of the NATO heads of states summit,” he said.</p>
<p>On Wednesday, the Afghan president will meet some heads of friendly countries and on Thursday he would participate in the NATO summit.</p>
<p>A dedication session on Afghanistan is to be held on July 12 when allies will make decisions about the Resolute Support mission and financial support for Afghan security forces.</p>
<p>Shafiq Hamdam, a political analyst and former NATO advisor in Afghanistan, says the summit is not only important for the allies but also for Afghanistan.</p>
<p>All NATO allies, particularly the US, would reaffirm their commitments to financially supporting the Afghan national security forces until 2024, he said. Negotiations between the Afghan government and <a href="https://www.pajhwok.com/en/taliban">Taliban</a> would also be discussed.</p>
