<p>HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): A key <a href="/en/taliban" class="glossify-link">Taliban</a> operative has been killed in a foreign forces drone strike in western Herat province, an official said on Sunday.</p>
<p>Abdul Ahad Walizadah, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the drone targeted <a href="/en/mullah" class="glossify-link">Mullah</a> Ewaz aka ‘Ghazi’ in the Aziz Abad area of Shindand district on Saturday night.</p>
<p>He said Ewaz was brother of Taliban’s shadow district chief for Enjil district of the province.</p>
<p> The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.</p>
