JALALALBAD (Pajhwok): Canalisation department officials in eastern Nangarhar province say about 7,500 berry saplings will be planted to boost honeybee production.
Eng. Sayed Aghan Miakhel, an official of an agricultural farm, told Pajhwok Afghan News they had started planting 7,500 berry saplings in the farm.
He said the new plantation was aimed at promoting honey production in the province.
He said another aim of the garden was to pave the way for beekeeping in the country and prevent honey import from Pakistan.
