<p>Addressing a news conference at his residence in Quetta on Monday, Achakzai explained the tribes had been living and moving across both sides from 1893 to 2015. They have lands on both sides.</p>
<p>For the last 122 years, he maintained, thousands of poor people had been visiting border areas of both countries without passports to run their small business and.</p>
<p>Achakzai remarked: “There is no justification for imposing restrictions on the movement of Pashtuns on both sides of the border.”</p>
<p>He continued: “I and many others may move the court of law and even the International Court of Justice if the situation is not restored as it was before March 15 this year.”</p>
<p>He proposed people should be permitted to cross the Pak-Afghan border on presenting their national identity cards, and that the permit system should be abolished.</p>
<p>If Pakistan cooperated with Afghanistan, the passport system between the two countries could be eliminated in the next one decade, he believed.</p>
