Attorney shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): An attorney was gunned down by unidentified attackers in Kabul on Sunday morning, a police official said.

Kabul police spokesman Firdos Faramarz told Pajhwok Afghan News Pamir Subh was shot dead in the Deh Araban area of the fifth police district.

The incident occurred at 8:15am, according to the police spokesman, who said nothing about where Pamir was working.

A credible source, meanwhile, said the attorney was shot dead near his residence. Pamir was on his way to office, the source added.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attorney’s killing.
