KABUL (Pajhwok): Three civilians have been killed and a dozen others wounded in two separate bomb explosions in Kabul, police say.

The blasts, less than an hour apart, took place in the Sar-i-Karez area of the third police district and the Pul-i-Sokhta neighbourhood of PD6.

Police said the Pul-i-Sokhta explosion struck a passenger bus, killing one civilian and injuring five others.

It was followed by another bomb attack on a passenger vehicle in Sar-i-Karez. At least two civilians were killed and seven others were wounded.
