AIBAK (Pajhwok): An official of the agriculture department and his driver have been killed in a traffic accident in northern Samangan province, an official said on Wednesday.
Jandullah Farooq Nazari, director of the agriculture and livestock department of Samangan, said that a vehicle carrying Maulvi Abdul Bari, the administrative head of the department, crashed into a truck in Robatak area of Aibak, the provincial capital.
He said that Abdul Bari and his driver were killed in the incident. He blamed the accident to careless driving.
