PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Pakistan has raised to 17 the number of items exported to Afghanistan (in the local currency), says a prime ministerial aide.
Adviser on Commerce, Textile, Industry and Production Abdul Razak Dawood said he is still being urged to put more items on the list of exports to Afghanistan.
He told journalists in Lahore on Sunday: “Still businessmen are contacting me to include their articles in this list as they want to export their goods to Afghanistan in Pak rupees.”
Dawood said trade with India was the need of the hour and beneficial for both sides. “My stance is that we should do trade with India.”
The advisor added Pakistan’s exports to Russia, Central Asia and other countries needed immediate attention and growth.
