TALOQAN (Pajhwok): The Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department of northern Takhar province says that 4,090 people have been recruited in the Work for Food program in Kulfgan district of the province.

SamiullahSamim, spokesman of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department, told Pajhwok Afghan News that following the launch of the Work for Food program in the province, the process has now been extended to Kulfgan district.

The program helped recruit 4,090 people in the district where they would clean canals, repair damaged roads and build water storages for livestock, he said.

Kulfgan residents were happy about the launch of the program in their district.
