KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan exported 73,000 tonnes of cotton — worth $46 million — last year, The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) said on Wednesday.
The ministry on its Twitter handle wrote: “Most of this cotton was exported to Pakistan and Tajikistan.
The source writes that Helmand, Kandahar and Kunduz provinces are the largest producers of cotton in the country.
