KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan set another enviable record by clinching the T20I International series against Pakistan at Sharjah on Sunday night.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran chipped in with 44 and 38 runs respectively to power Afghanistan to a historic seven-wicket triumph.
Following their exit, Najibullah Zadran smashed an unbeaten 23 off 12 balls and former skipper Mohammad Nabi hit a quick-fire 14 not out of nine deliveries. The Pakistan Cricket Board said.
The landmark result from the low-scoring encounter represents an unassailable 2-0 lead for Afghanistan over a much more experienced opposition.
