KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Amir Khan Muttaqi has underlined the need for joint measures to resolve Afghan-Pakistan problems in the trade sector.
Muttaqi met Pakistani Deputy Minister of Commerce and Industry Mohammad Khurram Agha and the delegation accompanying him, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said in a statement.
Muttaqi called for taking sincere combined measures to resolve the existing problems in trade and transit sectors.
For his part, Agha appreciated the caretaker Afghan government for extending him an official invitation to visit Kabul.
He said they were in discussions with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) of Afghanistan and problems would be addressed soon.
Both sides emphasised on the expansion and strengthening of trade and transit ties and creating facilities for the movement of passengers and patients across the Durand line.
