KABUL (Pajhwok): Iranian entrepreneurs have evinced a keen interest in investing water supply and electricity generation projects in Afghanistan, the Ministry of Energy and Water (MoEW) announced on Sunday.
Acting Minister of Energy and Water Maulvi Abdul Latif Mansour met Folad Mubaraka firm officials here on Saturday.
The ministry said in a statement the Iranian investors spoke about the activities of their firms and evinced a keen interest in investing in water supply and electricity generation projects in the country.
Meanwhile, Mansour spotlighted the current investment opportunities in Afghanistan.
All foreign capitalists were welcome to invest in different sectors, the minister said, promising all possible cooperation.
