KABUL (Pajhwok): The leaders of Russia and the United Arab Emirates are meeting today (Monday) on escalating tensions in the Middle East, says a media report.
Presidents Vladimir Putin and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, currently on a visit to Moscow, would meet at the Kremlin. Russia’s state news agency TASS reported.
According to the Kremlin press service, the two leaders will exchange views on the state and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation and international issue.
The situation in the Middle East and the North Africa region, as well as other matters of common interest, are expected to come also cup for discussion.
A day earlier, Putin had said he and the UAE president would visit a Russian educational establishment, to whose growth the visiting dignitary had contributed.
After Moscow talks, the two presidents will attend the BRICS summit in Kazan on October 22-24.
