MEHTARLAM (Pajhwok): A writer in eastern Laghman province has sought financial assistance for the publication of his 41 unpublished books.
Mohammad Esa, 72, a resident of Mehtarlam, told Pajhwok Afghan News that he wrote 45 different books in which four had been published while 41 others remained unpublished.
He asked government and well-off individuals to support him in the publication of his remaining books.
He said he completed 12th class in the Roshan High School in Laghman and then completed religious education in Hadiths to the master’s level during migration.
Referring the start of writing books, he said: “For the first time I wrote a book in Pakistan and its title was ‘Obstacles in the way of Communism and a Brave Mujahid’, I was encouraged by elders at the time and continued writing.”
Abdul Noor Rasouli, head of the provincial Information and Cultural Affairs Department, hailed Mohamamd Esa’s efforts and assured cooperation in the publication of his books.
He hailed his efforts and added Esa wrote books in line with the demand of the time.
He said a committee has been tasked by the minister to inspect and observe books for publication and the some committee would be established in the province to perform this task.
